Put your beginner skills into play with On Mahj Time’s inaugural six-week, beginner-friendly social league at The King Street Experience in Leesburg!

Six weeks of friendly competition

We’ll meet Saturdays, October 17 through November 14, from 1:00–4:00 p.m., with the league finale and awarding of season prizes on Friday, November 20, from 5:00–9:00 p.m.

Each week, you’ll play four scored games following NMJL rules, mix it up with new tablemates, and enjoy a little friendly competition—emphasis on friendly!

League-day extras

A little luck

A raffle at every session.

A warm welcome

A swag bag for every player.

Season prizes

Prizes for the league’s first-, second-, and third-place finishers, with a brand-new tile set and accessories rumored for the league champion.

Come ready to play

You bring your NMJL card; we’ll provide the tiles and tablescapes.

Can’t make one of the sessions? No problem! You’re welcome to send a substitute to play and earn points on your behalf. If you don’t send a substitute, there’s no penalty for missing the session—you simply won’t have the opportunity to earn points that week.

Is the League right for you?

This is social league play rather than a class, so participants should know the fundamentals and be able to play independently. No coaching or strategy instruction will be provided. Space is intentionally limited to keep the atmosphere fun, focused, and comfortable for newer players.
